Today, the whole world is right at our fingertips. The advent of computers has  changed our lives and keeps changing the way we live. We now find ourselves in this transitory stage of social evolution where knowledge workers have become the most valuable capital of nations in the global village. This is the Age of Information. This is the Age of Technology. This is the Age of Knowledge.

When we are shifting from traditional modes of learning to the modern way, it will become more pronounced and will become the way things are to be taught. All our campuses have started utilizing online instruction or e-learning, making education more accessible anytime, anywhere. As the pioneer of online education, we shall soon venture into the establishment of the deemed university.

Our expansion plans, therefore, are three-pronged. First, physical expansion by establishing other facilities, Second, virtual expansion by dominating cyber space through online education and third, internal expansion by modernizing the infra structure facilities.

It is my great pleasure to convey the message to the stake holders of the ever growing Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology (SCET) which was commissioned in 1995, is now flying with its more than 2000 students and more than 250 faculty and staff with its 10 UG programs and 5 PG programs with many more R & D, consultancy, testing services to the user organizations and the Industrial sectors. The whole heartedly support of the Hon. Chairman, Governing body, Heads of the department and Departments in charges, the faculty and staff of SCET have made tremendous effort almost on all fronts to develop this College.
