The ‘Leading India’ initiative is a nation-wide program to encourage research and skilling in the domain of Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning. This initiative is approved by the Royal Academy of Engineering, United Kingdom under the Newton Bhabha Fund. The academic collaborators of leadingindia.ai are University College, London, Brunel University, London and Bennett University, India. The industry partners of this initiative are NVIDIA, AWS Educate, Videoken and Edvantics. Our college, Sarvajanik College of Engineering & Technology became a Zonal Partner of leadingindia.ai in 2018. Under this initiative, SCET has formed a multi-disciplinary core research group SMiMa (SCET – Mind and Machines) which aims to provide training to faculty and students and conduct research in the AI and Deep Learning domain.
