Vision
A grievance free work environment for SCET.
Mission
‘Grievance Redressal Committee, SCET’ is created to address the issues of grievance, to decide the merit of the same and to propose a solution to the same, and thus, promoting a transparent and healthy environment within the institution.
Objectives
The objectives of the committee are as under.
- To create a healthy environment, where people with genuine grievance come forward, without any hesitation.
- To maintain the dignity of institute, (SCET), its parent institute, (SES) and protect the values, rules and principles upon which they stand.
- To support those, who have been denied their rightful claim / service by Institute.
- To ensure the correct solution of genuine grievance.
Functions
1. |
To promote the committee and its objectives. |
2. |
To keep interacting with students and departments for creating a healthy and transparent academic environment. |
3. |
To address, analyse and solve the students’ academic and administration issues within the institution. |
4. |
To coordinate between the students and their department to solve the grievance. |
5. |
To help students in academic and administration issues with GTU. |
6. |
To address the issues of harassment, or ragging or any other such issues. |
What we are not?
This committee, does not undertake or challenge the decisions made by universities / various boards of studies / councils. This committee, also does not undertake the issues regarding the decisions made by college authority / management on discipline, both misdemeanor and felony. College admission issues and scholarships are also not within the functions of the committee.
