IOT Club
IOT Club - A Club for the students by the students Connected Minds, Intelligent Solutions
Faculty Convener : Prof. (Dr.) Pariza Kamboj
Faculty Co-Convener: Prof. Vandana Joshi
Objectives of the Club:
The objective of the SCET IoT Club is to create a collaborative and innovation-driven environment where students can explore and excel in cutting-edge technologies, including the Internet of Things (IoT), Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Established in 2016 within the Computer Engineering Department, the club is dedicated to cultivating technical talent and encouraging students to think creatively and critically.
The club provides a hands-on learning platform that allows students to work on real-time projects, experiment with emerging hardware and software tools, and develop practical solutions to real-world problems. By integrating IoT with Robotics and AI, students gain interdisciplinary exposure and develop a holistic understanding of modern smart systems and automation.
Guided by experienced and supportive faculty members, the club conducts regular workshops, hackathons, seminars, and project exhibitions. These activities help build technical confidence, improve problem-solving abilities, and prepare students for future careers in research, development, and entrepreneurship.
Through this initiative, the SCET IoT Club aims to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and mindset necessary to become innovators and leaders in the rapidly evolving technological landscape.
