SCET PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB…………………..explore, expertise and exhibit……
The practice of taking pictures with a camera phone is so much more widespread than any other form of image-making in the history of mankind. We all know that digital photography dominates the 21st century. More than 99% of photographs taken around the world are through digital cameras, increasingly through smartphones. Who is a photographer and who is the audience for photographic images today? How has the Internet changed conditions for taking, viewing, and sharing images? Photography fecilitates one to develope different methodologies for presenting one’s “curated” collections including book, tumblr, installation, YouTube, or blog formats.

Photography as an everchanging set of technical, conceptual and aesthetic conditions that exist within a broad social and cultural context. Students delve into making, presentation and interpretation of photographic images, exploring photography as both a language and a craft. Ultimately, they learn how to use symbols and metaphors in the content and structure of image making. SCET PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB wants to explore, expertise and exhibit such talent within Engineering students. This has various academic, social and cultural Implications too. This club assemble the Photography enthusiasts to assign various jobs to nurture the like-minded community who master this art along with their engineering study. Some Photography exhibitions are carried out more shall be practiced.
