IBF-sponsored Faculty and Student Exchange Program - Phase-1

The Phase-I execution of the India-Bhutan Foundation (IBF)-sponsored International Collaborative Project titled “AI and Cybersecurity Capacity Building and Cross-Cultural Collaboration through Student Exchange” was successfully completed from 20–23 April 2026. Throughout the four-day program, students from both the institutions actively engaged in a variety of academic sessions, hands-on workshops, and collaborative activities. A significant highlight of the program was the emphasis on cross-cultural exchange. This program created opportunities for participants to showcase their talents, experience new traditions, and build lasting friendships. These interactions played a vital role in developing mutual respect, cultural sensitivity, and a broader global outlook among the participants.

IBF-sponsored Faculty and Student Exchange Program - Phase-II

As a continuation of the India–Bhutan Foundation sponsored Student & Faculty Exchange ProgramPhase II was conducted from 16–20 June 2026 at Jigme Namgyel Engineering College (JNEC), Royal University of Bhutan. The program provided SCET students and faculty with an enriching platform for academic learning, research collaboration, and cultural exchange. Participants attended expert sessions on Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Healthcare AI, and Quantum Computing, presented innovative research projects, and engaged in institutional visits and cross-cultural activities. The program further strengthened the academic partnership between SCET, Sarvajanik University and JNEC, Royal University of Bhutan, while enhancing participants' global outlook and international exposure
